Touching Photo Exhibition Highlights Children in Vietnam’s High-Altitude Regions

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – The charitable photo exhibition, “Pure Innocence of the Highlands” (Hồn Nhiên Rẻo Cao), officially opened on the evening of October 26, 2025, at the Mova Asian Cuisine restaurant in a warm and deeply humanitarian atmosphere. The event was organized by photographer Tran Quoc Toan, founder of the Nâng Bước Tương Lai (Stepping Up the Future) Foundation, with the noble goal of raising funds to support orphaned and underprivileged children in Vietnam.

A Genuine Perspective Through the Lens

Featuring 16 impressive portrait photos, "Pure Innocence of the Highlands" transports viewers to the simple yet vibrant daily moments of children in Vietnam’s Northwest and Central Highlands. Each piece is a moving story captured during the photographer's volunteer trips, vividly portraying the clear smiles, innocent eyes, and powerful aspiration for education of these young "buds" in remote regions.

Photographer Tran Quoc Toan shared: "Through these photos, I wish for people not only to appreciate the pure innocence of the children but also to understand their living conditions and extraordinary resilience. The exhibition is a bridge for the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic and international friends to join hands in support, bringing a warm winter and a brighter future to these children."

Spreading the Spirit of Compassion

The opening night was dignified and well-attended by members of the Leadership Board of the Vietnamese Union in the Czech Republic and many close friends and supporters. The event served as a platform not only to admire the authentic moments of the children but also to share the poignant stories behind each photograph.

As part of the exhibition, attendees have the opportunity to purchase photos and postcards to contribute to the Nâng Bước Tương Lai Foundation, helping secure funds to sustain their core mission of “nurturing and fostering” orphaned children and those with special circumstances in Northwest Vietnam. The organizers are committed to transparent fundraising:

  • All revenue from postcard sales and direct donations will be transferred to the Foundation’s public account.
  • The revenue from photo sales, after deducting material costs (printing, framing, stands), will be entirely transferred to the Foundation's account.

The exhibition is open to the public free of charge from the opening night until the end of October 28, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for art lovers in Prague to appreciate meaningful works and join in contributing to a humane cause, marking the Foundation's one-year anniversary of dedicated operation.
